Ferty® - MEGA

Ferty MEGA products are nitrate nitrogen acentuated and therefore ideal in the range of 2.1-4.3 mmol/l acid capacity (soft water). In combination with calcium nitrate they can be used in the range of 0-2.1 mmol/l acid capacity (very soft water), or you use the Ferty Basis products in that case. Especially in flux-reflux systems and backwater systems the pH gets stabilised and the formation of root-damaging nitrite is avoided.

Compared to the Standard products, the nutrients of Ferty MEGA are more highly concentrated. So they can be used at lower concentrations, which means a reduction of costs! For fertirrigation systems under average conditions we recommend a concentration of 0,5 - 1 ‰ ( 0,5 - 1 g/l ). Correspondingly lower concentrations should be used in closed systems ( depending on the EC-value of the reflux water). The contents of the trace elements have also been adjusted to the nutrient concentrations.

A part of the iron is chelated in the form of EDDHA, which is available up to high pH-values. Copper, Manganese and Zinc are chelated as EDTA.
